Overview
The Talomua is a once in a year event for the village that gives the villagers an opportunity to show off their handicrafts and agricultural products that they have labored over through out the year. The talomua has been taking place in the village for more than ten years. It originally was a festival to showcase agricultural products of the women, while the men celebrated with them. In addition, in the past, there were no prizes; the satisfaction of being given recognition by the high chiefs was enough for the farmers.
